Counseling and Psychotherapy

Therapy is a space to explore what’s been holding you back and to build skills for lasting change. I combine reflection and strategy, helping you connect emotional insight with clear next steps. I practice psychotherapy under my College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) registration. We work with adults, teens, children, and families.

Common Focus Area

Anxiety, burnout, or chronic stress
Depression, low mood, or loss of motivation
Relationship patterns and communication struggles
Life transitions, identity, or cultural adjustment
Trauma, grief, and loss
Self-esteem, purpose, and personal meaning

Our Work Together

Assessment & Clarification – We start by understanding what’s happening and what you want to change.
Therapeutic Work – Evidence-based interventions tailored to you — from CBT or DBT skills to deeper psychodynamic or schema exploration.
Integration – Translating insight into practice — building habits, boundaries, and self-awareness.
Sustain & Reflect – Review progress, consolidate growth, and plan for the road ahead.

Therapy can be short-term or ongoing, online or in-person. Sessions last 60 minutes and are fully confidential.

ADHD Mentoring

ADHD mentoring – often referred to as coaching - bridges insight and action. It’s not about motivation — it’s about building systems that fit how your brain works and how you relate to the world around you. Each session focuses on in-the-now, pragmatic strategies and skills you can start using right away. I mentor as a Certified Clinical Service Provider for ADHD (CCSP-ADHD).

What We Work On

Time management and task initiation
Focus, attention, and realistic scheduling
Emotional regulation and frustration tolerance
Routines, accountability, and follow-through
Motivation, reward systems, and daily structure

How Mentoring Works

We start by identifying where things break down — focus, planning, or follow-through. Then we create strategies designed around your natural strengths and habits. Between sessions, you’ll experiment, test, and refine what works.

This is hands-on, collaborative work that is practical, flexible, and free of judgment. You’ll leave each meeting with something clear to apply, whether that’s a scheduling trick, a mindset shift, or a way to simplify your environment.

Mentoring sessions are 60 minutes, online or in person. They can complement therapy or function independently.

Your Therapist

I would like to take this space to tell you a little about myself. I come from northern Ontario, Canada; a place of stark contrasts from the sunny hot and landlocked summers to dark and cold winters. It is a place where a connection to nature, community, and resilience are learned from a young age.

It is in this environment where my core theoretical orientation took root. I believe that each of us is nested in our own and unique ecological space. For better or for worse you are connected not only to yourself, but to your family, your neighbourhood, community, city, culture, and the times in which you live. Each of these components make up who you are emotionally, behaviourally, and psychologically.

Often times when people are not feeling quite themselves, it is a result of being out of balance with their ecological niche; they have lost their center point. My mission is to work with my clients to reset this balance and strengthen those connections which may have been forgotten and left to fray.

I work with children, teens, students, adults, groups, and families. I invite you to get in touch by clicking the button below.
